In their first year in Divison I basketball, the Grand Canyon Antelopes are headed to the postseason.
GCU has accepted an invitation to the 2014 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament. The Antelopes will host a first-round game at Antelope Gymnasium Wednesday, March 19.
The ‘Lopes went 15-14 overall and finished third (10-6) in the WAC under first-year head coach Dan Majerle. But they are ineligible for the conference tournament, the NCAA Tournament and the NIT for four years due to their probationary Division I membership.
The full tournament field will be announced Sunday, March 16.
