The Phoenix Suns reduced their roster to 16 players by waiving guards Joe Jackson and Casey Prather and forward Jamil Wilson Tuesday.

Jackson, an undrafted free agent from Memphis, appeared in one preseason game, playing 6:42 in Monday night’s loss to the Houston Rockets. The 6-foot-1 guard had two points and two rebounds in the game.

Prather, a product of the University of Florida, played 4:30 in the Houston game but didn’t record any statistics.

Wilson, a 6-foot-7 forward out of Marquette, saw nine minutes of playing in two games, grabbing one rebound, dishing out one assist and coming up with a steal.
