The Arizona Coyotes moved their team leader in points. Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro had the news.

Defenseman Chris Summers and a 2016 fourth-round draft pick are also going to the Rangers, the Coyotes announced. Summers has spent time between the Coyotes and the AHL’s Portland Pirates this season, posting three assists in 17 appearances for Arizona.

Arizona is also retaining 50 percent of Yandle’s salary in the deal.

In return, the Coyotes are getting 19-year-old left wing Anthony Duclair and 24-year-old defenseman John Moore. Arizona will also receive a second-round pick in 2015 and a first-round pick in 2016.

Duclair recorded one goal and six assists over 17 appearances in his rookie year with the Rangers.

“Anthony Duclair is a dynamic, skilled forward who has size, speed and offensive talent,” Coyotes general manager Don Maloney said in a press release. “He will be a valuable addition to our organization.”

Moore put up one goal and five assists in 38 games with New York in 2014-15, his fifth year in the league.

“John Moore is a young, strong skating, puck moving defenseman who will solidify our core group on the blue line,” Maloney said.

Yandle had tallied four goals and 37 assists in 63 appearances for the Coyotes this year. As of Saturday night, his 37 assists were tied for the 10th-highest total in the NHL, and he was tied for the highest mark among all defensemen.

Center Antoine Vermette was second on the Coyotes with 35 points, but he was dealt to the Chicago Blackhawks following Arizona’s loss in Boston on Saturday.

The 28-year-old Yandle was in his ninth season in the Valley. The Boston native was taken by the Coyotes in the fourth round of the 2005 draft.
