Arizona Coyotes bring Antoine Vermette back to the desert

On Feb. 28, the Arizona Coyotes sent center Antoine Vermette to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a first-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft and defensive prospect Klas Dahlbeck.
Vermette appeared in 19 games for the Blackhawks, notching zero goes and three assists in the regular season before tallying four goals and three assists during the team’s Stanley Cup championship run.
Now, ring in hand, the veteran is returning to the desert.
Vermette headed back to ARI on a 2 year deal. It's believed to be an AAV of $3.75M.

“We are thrilled to bring Antoine back to Arizona,” said Coyotes GM Don Maloney. “Antoine is a very good two-way center and one of the NHL’s best face-off men. He is a great person, a great teammate, and a strong leader. We are extremely happy to have him rejoin the Coyotes.”
The 32-year-old Vermette previously spent parts of four seasons with the Coyotes, notching 53 goals along with 58 assists.
Along with Arizona and Chicago, Vermette has played for the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets.
