Arizona Coyotes fans know goaltender Mike Smith can handle the puck and he showed the world that at the 2017 NHL All-Star Skills Competition at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Smith, competing in the Four-Line Challenge, attempted to score five-hole from 200 feet.

The challenge had four different shooters from different points on the ice, ending with a 200-foot shot from the far goal line. In an added wrinkle, goaltenders could take the fourth shot and be awarded double the amount of points for making the shot.

All the players watching on couldn’t help but have a smile on their face as Smith’s shot somehow slid through into the net and the small hole to ensure the goal went five-hole.

Cameras captured Smith’s reaction as the puck approached the other net and he was ecstatic.

The 34-year-old is competing in his first All-Star game Sunday.
