Phoenix Suns announce roster for NBA Summer League in Las Vegas

The Phoenix Suns have announced their roster for the NBA’s Summer League in Las Vegas.

The roster includes six players drafted by the team: Dragan Bender, Marquese Chriss, Josh Jackson are the first-round picks while Alec Peters, Davon Reed and Tyler Ulis were selected in the second round. Peters and Ulis are injured and will not play.
Returning to the Suns’ summer league team for a second stint are Bender, Chriss, Mike James, David Stockton and Ulis. Stockton played for the team in 2014 while James participated the following year in 2015.
Suns assistant coach and player development coordinator Marlon Garnett will serve as head coach.
Jackson and James both officially signed with the team Monday.
The Suns begin summer league play in Las Vegas on Friday against the Sacramento Kings at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
