Vinny & Skinny: Cards will lean on Adrian Peterson vs. Seahawks

The season started with David Johnson and Carson Palmer forming the offensive identity.
Halfway through 2017, it’s suddenly Adrian Peterson who has become the focal point for the Arizona Cardinals on offense. That won’t change in a Thursday matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, according to 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Vince Marotta and Mike Jurecki.
In the Week 10 edition of the Vinny & Skinny show presented by Arizona Central Credit Union, Marotta and Jurecki pick their midseason Cardinals MVPs and bridge the brief gap between the Sunday victory over the San Francisco 49ers and this week’s home game against the Seahawks.
“It certainly didn’t look like a Bruce Arians-engineered win when you have a running back carrying the ball 37 times for 159 yards,” Marotta said, “but Adrian Peterson, I was a doubter, I was wrong. He has gas left in the tank.”
Jurecki was quick to credit the improved offensive line play, which responded after a bye week.
“You got to give (D.J.) Humphries and (Alex) Boone a lot of credit,” he said. “Jared Veldheer has played a lot better the last couple weeks.”
So who are the guys’ MVP picks?
