Coyotes to open 2018-19 season at Stars, debut new jerseys vs. Ducks

The Arizona Coyotes will open the 2018-19 season on the road against the Dallas Stars on Thursday, Oct. 4, before heading back to Gila River Arena for a home opener two days later.

Arizona will take its Saturday, Oct. 6, home opener against the Anaheim Ducks to debut its new alternate jerseys. Those threads will be revealed on Friday at the team’s NHL Draft party prior to the selections.

The NHL released the matchups for every home opener on Wednesday, a tease before the full schedules are announced Thursday on NHL Network beginning at 2 p.m.

The Coyotes hit the ice for the first time in 2018-19 on the second day of the NHL season. Four games will see the puck drop on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
