Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker received a shout out from rapper Drake on a new track from Travis Scott’s ‘Astroworld,’ which dropped Friday.
Drake was featured on the song “Sicko Mode” and referenced Booker’s nickname ‘D-Book’ saying, “Wet like I’m Book.”
The two have a history of friendship. Drake wore Booker’s jersey during a concert in Phoenix two years ago, showing his support for the guard, and Booker tweeted his admiration.

Drake frequently expresses his fandom to Booker’s alma-mater Kentucky basketball team, and even once warmed up with the team before a game (which didn’t go too well for him).
When Booker was a rookie, he paid homage to Drake by doing the viral “Hotline Bling” dance after a game winner from his teammate at the time, Mirza Teletovic.
The 21-year-old Booker won the All-Star Game Three-Point Contest in 2018, scoring 28 points in the final round, an all-time record. So, there is some truth in Drake’s line in the song; Booker’s shot is in fact, “wet.”
Drake will be at the Gila River Arena on Oct. 8 with Migos on the Aubrey and the Three Amigos tour.
