The Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs continue rolling along and once again hold down the top two spots in this week’s Arizona Sports NFL Power Rankings.

But the Arizona Cardinals are no longer cellar dwellars following their 28-18 road win over the banged-up San Francisco 49ers. Look, it wasn’t a thing of beauty, but a win is a win, and this team was desperate to get that first one.

Here’s the rest of the pecking order heading into Week 6 in the NFL.

Arizona Sports NFL Power Rankings – Week 6

Rank Team Record Result Movement Comment
1. Los Angeles Rams 5-0 beat Seattle 33-31 (–) Offense has scored at least 33 every week, but what’s up with the defense?
2. Kansas City Chiefs 5-0 beat Jacksonville 30-14 (–) Chiefs actually outgained on offense, but D forced five Jaguars turnovers, including four picks of Bortles.
3. New Orleans Saints 4-1 beat Washington 43-19 (▲1) Special night for Drew Brees, who becomes NFL’s all-time leading passer (yards).
4. New England Patriots 3-2 beat Indianapolis 38-24 (▲5) Brady throws three TDs and gets 226th win as a starter, tying him for most of all-time.
5. Chicago Bears 3-1 Bye Week (–) Will try to move to 4-1 against struggling Miami.
6. Cincinnati Bengals 4-1 beat Miami 27-17 (▲5) Trailed 17-0, then ripped off 27 straight points vs. Dolphins, including two defensive touchdowns.
7. Carolina Panthers 3-1 Beat NY Giants 33-31 (▲5) Graham Gano from 63? Yeah, that’ll work.
8. Minnesota Vikings 2-2-1 beat Philadelphia 23-21 (▲9) The roller coaster continues for the Vikes, but a nice bounce-back win over the Super Bowl champs.
9. Jacksonville Jaguars 3-2 lost to Kansas City 30-14 (▼6) Blake Bortles is like a box of chocolates. You know how this ends.
10. Los Angeles Chargers 3-2 beat Oakland 26-10 (▲5) Haven’t beaten a good team yet, but wins are wins.
11. Baltimore Ravens 3-2 lost to Cleveland 12-9 (OT) (▼5) Offense appeared to be legit, until it got to Cleveland.
12. Pittsburgh Steelers 2-2-1 beat Atlanta 41-17 (▲4) Which version of the Steelers will show up this week?
13. Tennessee Titans 3-2 lost to Buffalo 13-12 (▼6) Titans are now 1-1 in games where they haven’t scored a touchdown.
14. Green Bay Packers 2-2-1 lost to Detroit 31-23 (▼6) Mason Crosby with a season’s worth of misses in one game.
15. Philadelphia Eagles 2-3 lost to Minnesota 23-21 (▼5) Very thin at RB with Jay Ajayi out for the year.
16. Miami Dolphins 3-2 lost to Cincinnati 27-17 (▼3) Ryan Tannehill commits three turnovers in loss to Bengals.
17. Seattle Seahawks 2-3 lost to LA Rams 33-31 (▲3) Played pretty well in loss to the best team in the league.
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2-2 Bye week (–) Pretty much playing an NFC South elimination game at Atlanta this week.
19. Washington Redskins 2-2 lost to New Orleans 43-19 (▼5) Offered Drew Brees little resistance on his way to an NFL record.
20. Denver Broncos 2-3 lost to NY Jets (▼1) Losing streak hits three with a completely uninspired performance at the Meadowlands.
21. Cleveland Browns 2-2-1 beat Baltimore 12-9 (OT) (▲2) The Browns actually executed a game-winning field goal — barely, but still!
22. New York Jets 2-3 beat Denver 34-16 (▲6) When the Jets play well, they look really good. It’s just not that often.
23. Houston Texans 2-3 beat Dallas 19-16 (OT) (▲2) Two straight for the Texans…although I still don’t think they’re very good.
24. Dallas Cowboys 2-3 lost to Houston 19-16 (OT) (▼3) Remember those signs of life on offense? Yeah, about those…
25. Atlanta Falcons 1-4 lost to Pittsburgh 41-17(▼3) (–) What a mess on defense.
26. Detroit Lions 3-3 beat Green Bay 31-23 (▲3) Kenny Golladay is becoming a top receiver.
27. New York Giants 1-4 lost to Carolina 33-31 (▼1) Finally broke 30 points, but this OBJ-Eli issue isn’t going away.
28. Buffalo Bills 2-3 beat Tennessee 13-12 (▲3) Won a game that set offense back a long, long way.
29. Indianapolis Colts 1-4 lost to New England 38-24 (▲1) At least Thursday night didn’t come down to a fourth-down decision.
30. Arizona Cardinals 1-4 beat San Francisco 28-18 (▲2) A one-play flash on offense is actually sadly encouraging.
31. San Francisco 49ers 1-4 lost to Arizona 28-18 (▼7) C.J. Beathard is not good.
32. Oakland Raiders 1-4 lost to LA Chargers 26-10 (▼5) Yikes.
