The Phoenix Suns have signed Jalen Lecque from Brewster Academy as an undrafted free agent following Thursday’s NBA Draft, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported.

Charania reported it is a four-year deal with two years guaranteed.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound point guard was committed to NC State but stayed in high school for a fifth year at Brewster. He declared for the 2019 NBA Draft, according to USA Today, eligible as a high school player because of his age and being a year removed from his original high school class.

He averaged 12.6 points, 4.6 assists and 4.1 rebounds this past season.

Lecque becomes the second point guard Phoenix acquired on draft day on Thursday, joining Virginia’s Ty Jerome. Phoenix reportedly traded next year’s Milwaukee 2020 first-round pick to get Jerome with the 24th pick and Boston Celtics center Aron Baynes.

It was the first reported undrafted free agent for Phoenix, which in addition to getting Baynes and Jerome took UNC’s Cam Johnson with the 11th overall pick. Phoenix got to 11 after trading the sixth overall pick to Minnesota for their first-round pick and Dario Saric.
