To say Justin Upton had a pretty good week would be an understatement.
The D-backs’ right fielder collected 16 hits (good for a .552 batting average), seven RBI and one walk-off homer during the seven day stretch, and on Monday he added a National League Player of the Week honor as well.
In all Upton tallied four three-hit games in the week, raising his batting average to .302 and has 12 home runs and 38 RBI on the season, solidifying his All-Star candidacy as well as his role as the team’s franchise player.
Upton’s four walk-off RBI this season are the most in the Majors.
