Meet Scooby, a small chihuahua-like dog who enjoys sitting on his owner’s back doing a cute pawing thing.
Scooby and owner Christian helped the Arizona Diamondbacks throw out the first pitch of their Wednesday night 11-6 victory against the Colorado Rockies, and — oh, that’s really cute.
Upon further research, Scooby and Christian first appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2014.
Christian is into not wearing shirts and doing balancing acts as Scooby does cute dog things. For their act at Chase Field, Christian this time wore a shirt. He balanced himself on a pole with one arm as Scooby played to the crowd.
So Scooby didn’t exactly pick up the baseball and throw out the first pitch. He’s about the size and weight of the ball, doesn’t have opposable thumbs, etc. But he’s nonetheless the star of the show.
Scooby is very cute.
This first pitch, and all of us, are just puppets of this tiny chihuahua god: https://t.co/3uBMhCzKcW pic.twitter.com/fgbKGOjGi0
