The Arizona Diamondbacks will raise awareness for childhood cancer on Saturday with pre- and in-game activities Saturday night as the team faces the Miami Marlins, the team announced Thursday.

“Childhood Cancer Awareness Night” will also showcase local healthcare professionals who deal directly with childhood cancer.

Fans can help raise funds by purchasing a Gold Rush Home Run Package or Mystery Ball, which helps support childhood cancer awareness month. The package is a donation of $100 and will include a baseball autographed by a Diamondbacks player, a New Era black backpack, a Paul Goldschmidt emoji pillow and a commemorative State Forty Eight Gold Rush t-shirt.

People can also purchase a mystery ball for $50 and will receive an autograph from one of the following players: Nick Ahmed, Archie Bradley, Patrick Corbin, Daniel Descalso, Brandon Drury, Zack Godley, Paul Goldschmidt, Zack Greinke, Chris Herrmann, Chris Iannetta, Jake Lamb, Ketel Marte, J.D. Martinez, Shelby Miller, Chris Owings, David Peralta, A.J. Pollock, Robbie Ray, Fernando Rodney, Yasmany Tomas or Taijuan Walker.

A number of different events will take place throughout the night, which is in partnership with Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

It includes a $200,000 check presentation to the PCH Foundation and the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation, childhood cancer survivors will take the field with D-backs players.

As another way of raising awareness, Diamondbacks players, coaches and on-field personnel will wear gold ribbon decals and wristbands.

On Saturday, the Diamondbacks will also give away 10,000 shirts to fans to recognize J.D. Martinez’s four-homer game, which took place at Dodger Stadium on Sept. 4.
