J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans made quite an impression on the football field in 2012.
The second-year pro finished with 20.5 sacks, 23 tackles for loss and 16 passes defended — numbers good enough to earn him the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award.
Watt is also making a huge impression off the field.
Twelve-year-old Cristian Beasley has leukemia and uses a telepresence robot to basically go to school for him. Cristian named the robot after Watt, his favorite player.
The All-Pro surprised the young man with a home visit, spending more than two hours with him.
Like we said, J.J. Watt is good at making impressions.
