In the 2018 season, the Arizona Diamondbacks will be celebrating their 20th anniversary as a franchise, and the organization has a lot planned.

The most notable of which is going to be the “D-backs 20th Anniversary Experience.”

The 2,000 square-foot exhibit will be located in Chase Field on the main concourse in right field. Fans will get some serious nostalgia going through the space, as it will feature artifacts, memorabilia, photographs and more to look back on the history of the franchise.

Want to get a look at a Cy Young, Gold Glove or Silver Slugger Award won by your favorite D-back? It’ll be there, along with a showcase of the team’s 2001 World Series championship.

The celebration will also have much in store for the opening weekend of the season, including a ceremonial first pitch from members of each D-backs postseason team, a 20th anniversary reusable bag giveaway on March 30 and a 20th anniversary replica jersey giveaway for the following game on March 31.

Throwback Thursdays will return to look back on the uniforms of the inaugural team and the six postseason teams in D-backs’ history. That includes jerseys from 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2007, 2011 and 2017 that will be worn on select dates.

Fans will also be able to vote on the “D-backs All-Time Team” at the following link.

Those looking to get even more in the spirit of the anniversary will be in luck, as the D-backs team shop will feature an array of merchandise featuring the 20th anniversary logo.
