Tim Locastro continues to sacrifice body for D-backs with diving catch

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Tim Locastro has made a knack for putting his body on the line for the D-backs this season.
Locastro has been hit by 14 pitches on the 2019 campaign (fourth in MLB).

The 27-year-old was at it again in Sunday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Only this time, it wasn’t at the plate, but along the left field line in foul territory.
Locastro flagged down a Mike Moustakas fly ball, diving head-first into the padding to record the second out of the game.
He then fired the ball back into the infield to keep Keston Hiura at second base.

The D-backs outfielder appeared to be shaken up at first, but just as he has 14 times this season after getting hit by a pitch, Locastro shook it off and stayed in the game for Arizona.
Alex Young would retire the following batter to end the inning and keep a goose egg in the Brewers’ run column.
But the shutout would be shortlived, as Brewers left fielder Tyler Saladino would go on to tie the game at 4-4 with a grand slam in the top of the fourth inning, ultimately leading to Milwaukee’s 7-4 win.
