ASU punter Michael Turk will declare for the 2020 NFL Draft

Another Arizona State Sun Devil is headed to the NFL.
Punter Michael Turk announced on Twitter Monday that he will forego his final year of NCAA eligibility and declare for the NFL Draft.
“I would also like to thank the entire coaching staff at Arizona State—especially my special team’s coach Shawn Slocum—for all their help and support,” Turk said in the tweet.

The junior averaged 46.0 yards per punt on 59 punts this season, which ranked 11th in the FBS and led the Pac-12.
Turk was named to the All-Pac-12 First team following the season as well.

He also finished as a semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award, an annual award given to college football’s best punter.
Turk joins fellow Sun Devil Eno Benjamin in declaring a year early for the NFL Draft.
