The Arizona Cardinals on Monday announced they hired Jordan Hogan to contribute in the Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellowship.

Hogan, who spent the past three seasons as Cornell’s wide receivers coach, will assist with coaching the quarterbacks under head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Hogan brings NFL experience and three times participated in the NFL’s Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship, spending time with the Baltimore Ravens last year, the Indianapolis Colts in 2017 and the Buffalo Bills in 2016.

His coaching experience also includes assistant duties at Buffalo State from 2013-16 and at Stonehill College in 2017.

A former college receiver for SUNY Brockport, Hogan finished fifth in school history with 1,546 career receiving yards.

Hogan follows Don Shumpert, who was the 2019 Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellowship participant. Shumpert was elevated by the Cardinals to offensive assistant for 2020.

Levon Kirkland (2015-16) and Terry Allen (2017-18) preceded them in the role.

Arizona debuted the Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellowship before the 2015 season to increase diversity on its staff. It is named after Cardinals owner Bill Bidwill, who passed away last October and was known for making minority hires.
