After every Arizona Diamondbacks game we’ll examine the
box score and provide you with instant analysis. So it’s
time to go Inside the Box for May 12, 2011: Giants 3, Diamondbacks 2

The Good:

Stephen Drew added to his RBI total as he got two hits and an RBI in San Francisco. It gives him 25 on the year which leads the team. He now has three more than Chris Young who has the second most on the club.

The Bad:

Second baseman Kelly Johnson continued to struggle at the plate. He went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts against the Giants on Thursday. He is now hitting .188 on the year.

The Funky:

For the first time this season center fielder Chris Young wasn’t in the starting lineup. He didn’t get the entire day off though. He pinch hit in the top of the ninth inning and got a single to left field.
