All-Star ratings are lowest ever

Baseball fans in Phoenix may have enjoyed the All-Star game, but it does not appear the rest of the country did.
According to Sportsbusiness Daily, the 2011 All-Star game was the worst rated All-Star game ever.
The 7.9 overnight rating is down 13.2 percent from last season’s game.
With both the NBA and NFL locked out it would seem like this year was baseball’s time to shine, however the All-Star ratings do not reflect that and only show that baseball is still in need of revitalization as the ratings seem to decline year after year.
