Mar 21, 2012, 10:10 PM | Updated: 11:10 pm

Daniel Hudson pitched five scoreless innings Wednesday
afternoon at Salt River Fields. He limited the Milwaukee
Brewers to two hits while striking out four. He walked
one.

Hudson delivered a first pitch strike to 11 of the 17
batters faced.

In four Cactus League starts, Hudson is 1-0 with a 2.57
ERA (4 ER in 14 IP) with two walks and 14 strikeouts.

David Hernandez, in the 6th, allowed a two-out double to
Rickie Weeks but then got Aramis Ramirez to fly out. It
was Hernandez’s third scoreless outing in five appearances
this spring.

Aaron Hill, on his 30th birthday, went 2-for-2 with a
walk; Geoff Blum and Chris Young also had two hits. Ryan
Braun (groin) did not make the trip.

12,579 fans (four more than Tuesday) showed up, setting a
new Salt River Fields attendance record for the second
straight day.

Diamondbacks are off on Thursday…Gibson said he’ll be at
the Michigan State/Louisville game.
