Brian Banks, the former California high school football
player recently exonerated of rape charges, is now getting
a second chance at life.
The Arizona Diamondbacks hope they might be a part of his
fresh start.
Team President and CEO Derrick Hall wants to talk with
Banks, who was released from prison last week after his
accuser recanted her story, about a potential job with the
organization.
“I know he still has dreams and goals of playing in the
NFL but if that doesn’t work out we would like to help him
start a career in sports and see if there is a good fit
for him within our organization,” Hall told 92.3 KTAR.
