D-backs reinstate right-hander Takashi Saito

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced they have reinstated right-handed
All-Star reliever Takashi Saito from the 15-day disabled list.
To make room for Saito on the roster, the D-backs optioned right-handed
pitcher Jonathan Albaladejo to Triple-A Reno.
The 42-year-old veteran has been sidelined since April 4 with a strained right
medial calf.
Saito tossed three scoreless innings with four strikeouts in three appearances
for the Arizona League D-backs from July 13-19.
In 322 career relief appearances, Saito has posted a 21-15 record with 84
saves, a 2.18 ERA with 103 walks and 389 strikeouts.
Albaladejo made three appearances with the D-backs, posting a 9.00 ERA in
three innings pitched.
