D-backs open spring training vs. Rockies at Salt River Fields on Thursday

Major League Baseball is officially back and so is spring training.

Opening Day for the Arizona Diamondbacks is April 7 against the San Diego Padres at Chase Field.

But before the real games that count get underway next month, teams will get a few weeks to knock the rust off.

On Sunday, The Diamondbacks released the full spring training schedule.

The D-backs will open on Thursday against the Colorado Rockies at Salt River Fields and conclude vs. the Cleveland Guardians at Chase Field on April 5.

Tickets will be on sale Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. on the D-backs website.

Here is Arizona’s full 22-game spring training schedule including split-squads and starting times:

March 19: at Angels 1:10 p.m.

March 20: at Royals 1:05 p.m.
