Peralta, Lamb power D-backs to victory over Giants: By the Numbers

Two giant rips saved the Diamondbacks from dropping their second game of the season.
Arizona beat San Francisco 7-6 at Chase Field Tuesday night behind a three-run homer apiece from David Peralta and Jake Lamb.
The first was smashed by Peralta over the right field fence off a fastball by Giants starter Ryan Vogelsong, putting the D-backs ahead two in the third inning, 4-2.

Giants first baseman Brandon Belt had an RBI single in the fourth inning and second baseman Joe Panik’s sac fly tied things up in the fifth.
Then Lamb stepped up to bat and hit his second three-run shot in two games (the first was a pinch-hit double on Opening Night Monday).
Vogelsong ceded all seven runs on six hits in 4 2/3 innings.
San Francisco’s Brandon Crawford homered and Hector Sanchez hit an RBI double to pull the Giants within one in the sixth inning, but closer Addison Reed held on with two strikeouts in the ninth with a runner on first to earn the save.
Rubby De La Rosa earned the win in his debut with the Diamondbacks after allowing six runs and eight hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Outfielder Mark Trumbo tripled in his second-straight game, becoming the third D-back to do so since the start of the 2012 season.
He had one triple throughout the entirety of last season.

Lamb’s four RBI tied his career high. He has seven RBI in the past two games, which is a club record (four, held by Trumbo).

De La Rosa threw 56 strikes on 92 pitches and ceded eight hits, six runs (six earned) in 5.1 innings pitched for an ERA of 10.13 in his NL West debut.2
