Report: Burfict not part of pre-draft workouts

Apr 14, 2012, 12:03 AM | Updated: 1:09 am

With less than two weeks to go until the NFL Draft,
players from all over the country are spending time
talking with NFL coaches and working out for them.

After all, teams want to get an up-close look at a player
they may soon be paying millions to play for them.

One guy who no one seems interested in, though, is Arizona
State’s Vontaze Burfict.

Bad sign indeed.

Of course, this does not mean Burfict will not be drafted
or find a home in the NFL. Just because a team does not
work a guy out does not mean they will not take him.

However, it would all but assure Burfict of being a late-round selection,
someone who will represent little risk for whichever team takes him.
