Sutton gets 10th All-American selection

Dec 14, 2012, 9:30 PM | Updated: 9:43 pm

The accolades keep on coming in for Arizona State defensive tackle Will Sutton.

A junior from Corona, California, Sutton was awarded his 10th All-American selection when he was named a Phil Steele Postseason Second Team.

There were few defensive players in the country as dominant as Sutton in 2012.

After recording 58 total tackles (20 for loss), 10.5 sacks and three forced fumbles, Sutton was named the Pat Tillman Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year.

Sutton and the Sun Devils return to action on December 29 in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl when they take on the Navy Midshipmen.

The bowl game could be Sutton’s last as a Sun Devil.

The junior is expected to announce whether he will return for his senior season or declare for the NFL draft sometime after the team’s showdown with Navy.
