Four Arizona State football players participated in the NFL Combine over the weekend. In a chance to show off skills, strength and athleticism to NFL scouts and improve draft stock, Jaelen Strong turned the most heads with his performance.

Here’s how all four Sun Devils fared:

Jaelen Strong (WR)

Speed wasn’t his trademark at ASU, so his 4.44-second 40-yard dash time was a surprise to a lot of scouts. His time tied him for the 13th fastest for a wide receiver at the combine. The mark that really impressed everybody, but not as much as his vertical jump, which came in at 42.0 inches. It was the second-best mark for a wideout and fifth-highest out of all participants. He also jumped 123 inches on the broad jump, ninth-best out of all wide receivers.

Jamil Douglas (OG)

Douglas was able to do 28 reps on the bench press, 10th-best in the offensive line group. He was in the middle of the pack in just about every other activity he performed in, with the 40-yard dash being his next-best category at 5.25 seconds. His time was 16th-best among offensive linemen.

Marcus Hardison (DE)

Hardison suffered a minor knee injury in the Senior Bowl, so he did not participate in any combine activities besides the bench press. He did 27 reps, which was 13th-best among defensive linemen.

Damarious Randall (FS)

Randall had an impressive combine, finding himself at the top of the board in two important categories. He was third-best among safeties with a 40-yard dash time of 4.46 seconds, and missed the second-fastest mark by a hundredth of a second. He was also third best among safeties in the vertical jump at 38.0 inches. One area he struggled in was the bench press, as he only did 14 reps, the third-fewest amount among the safeties.
