Diamondbacks alumni game set for Saturday

Some familiar Diamondback faces are lacing up the baseball cleats once again.

Chase Field will host the 2016 D-backs alumni game at 2:30 p.m. Saturday before Arizona faces the Cincinnati Reds at 5:10 p.m.

Former Diamondbacks heroes Luis Gonzalez, Steve Finley, Jay Bell and Reggie Sanders are among those expected to appear in the game, which will go three innings. The first 20,000 fans to arrive at Chase Field will receive a D-backs pullover shirt courtesy of Sanderson Ford.

Gates open at 2 p.m.

The entire list of players expected to play in the games reads as follows: Joel Adamson, Jay Bell, Willie Bloomquist, Scott Brow, Alex Cintron, Jason Conti, Bryan Corey, Elmer Dessens, Erubiel Durazo, Mike Fetters, Luis Gonzalez, Andrew Good, Mike Gosling, Mark Grace, Scott Hairston, Felix Jose, Mark Little, Rodrigo Lopez, Augie Ojeda, Russ Ortiz, Bret Prinz, J.J. Putz, Stephen Randolph, Cody Ransom, Reggie Sanders, Joe Saunders, Chris Snyder, Andy Stankiewicz, Kelly Stinnett, Greg Swindell, Brandon Webb and Matt Williams.

The list is subject to change.

One team of former D-backs will wear the Sedona Red alternate uniforms from 2007-15 while the other will be in the purple alternates from the 1998-2004 seasons.

Fans with tickets to the Reds-Diamondbacks game will be admitted to watch the alumni game.
