Quarterback was the problem, but now is part of solution

That the Arizona Cardinals had some issues with the quarterback position last season is no secret.

So, it should come as no surprise that the addition of Kevin Kolb is being looked at as the most important move of the off-season.

At least, that’s what kicker Jay Feely thinks.

“When you can get a guy who hopefully you can build around, and then the ramifications on Larry and his contract and the ability to sign him,” Feely told Sports 620 KTAR’s Dave Burns and John Gambadoro. “And you just look around the NFL, you cannot win in the NFL if you don’t have a good quarterback.

“I think you can have as good a defense as you want, if you don’t have a great quarterback — or at least a good quarterback — you’re going to struggle to win games every week.”

Feely, like the rest of us, hopes Kolb will be the answer at the position, because if he is the team will likely contend for the NFC West crown on an annual basis.
