The Pulse: Most fans not very concerned with the Arizona Cardinals’ preseason loss to the Cincinnati Bengals

Arizona Cardinals fans certainly weren’t pleased with most of what they saw, especially from the first-team offense, in the Cards’ 19-13 preseason loss Sunday to the Cincinnati Bengals.
In particular, starting quarterback Carson Palmer completed just 7 of 19 passes and threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown.
But did the Cards’ performance breed long-term anxiety? Not really.
In Monday’s Sanderson Ford Poll Question of the Day, we asked:
Are you concerned about the Cardinals’ loss to the Bengals?
We provided three answers:
• Yes, the offense looked miserable
• Maybe a little, but it’s only preseason
• Not at all, it was just one game
Fewer than 10 percent of voters said they were more than just somewhat worried about the lackluster showing from Palmer and others.
A plurality (47 percent) expressed “a little” concern, while 44 percent brushed off the performance entirely.
The Cardinals have one more preseason warm-up when they head to San Diego to take on the Chargers on Thursday night. Their regular-season opener will be against those same Chargers on Sept. 8 on Monday Night Football.
