Seals-Jones played four seasons for Texas A&M before joining the Cardinals in 2017 as an undrafted free agent. The 22-year-old rookie played as a wide receiver in college, but converted to tight end after signing with Arizona.
Wheeler originally joined the Cardinals on July 27.
The nine-year NFL veteran has 513 tackles, 133 games and 66 starts for the Colts, Raiders, Dolphins and Falcons on his resume. Last season for Atlanta, he recorded 28 tackles in 16 appearances.
The move comes after tight end Jermaine Gresham was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable for Monday’s night game against the Dallas Cowboys.

I had posted my question, when the team cut Jim Dray last week after the game. With Gresham and Niklas both fighting injuries, I thought the team should have kept Dray.
I hope SK didn't put this young player in a no win position tonight...
Hopefully Gresham and his hands of stone will sit on the sideline.
our TEs are struggling for sure. But I think that has to do more with BAs play calling than it has to actually do with them individually don't you think? Too many run plays called using 2 TEs? And not enough pass plays designed to go to the TE?
