Arizona Cardinals Week 17 playoff scenarios

With Sunday night’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the Arizona Cardinals are on the outside looking in for the NFC West division title heading into the final week of the regular season.

A division championship, a first-round bye and even home-field advantage throughout the playoffs remain a possibility for the Cards — but many things will need to fall into place Sunday.

Games to watch (all begin at 2:25 p.m.):

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers
St. Louis Rams at Seattle Seahawks
Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers (Winner is NFC North champion)
Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons (Winner is NFC South champion)

The Cardinals will clinch the NFC West with:

1. A win and a Seahawks loss or tie
2. A tie and a Seahawks loss

The Cardinals will clinch a first-round bye with:

1. A win and a Seahawks loss or tie
2. A tie, a Seahawks loss and a Cowboys loss
3. A tie, a Seahawks loss and a Lions-Packers tie

The Cardinals will clinch home-field advantage with:

1. A win, a Seahawks loss or tie and a Packers loss or tie
2. A tie, a Seahawks loss, a Cowboys loss or tie and a Packers-Lions tie
