Kevin Kolb, Cardinals working through ‘hiccups’

Everyone knew it would take time.
Kevin Kolb has been with the Cardinals for less than a month, and with the season opener nearly two weeks away the offense is under the gun, so to speak, to get ready as quickly as possible.
And, while mistakes have been made, Kolb says the important thing is how quickly the team bounces back.
“There’s going to be some hiccups, but the thing that’s encouraging is that we’ve had those hiccups and we’ve bounced back, if it’s in practice or if it’s in these games, I think everybody’s seen that.”
Kolb admitted there may never be time to get “enough work in,” but at the very least it appears the new QB is doing everything he can to get ready for Carolina.
Of course, part of that is learning where University of Phoenix Stadium — the site where the game will be played — is.
The former Eagle will get his first taste of playing in front of his new hometown fans Saturday against San Diego, an experience he said will help in his preparation.
“I don’t even know how to get out there, I have to look it up on my phone to get direction,” Kolb said.
Don’t worry, the QB will find the stadium. And, as long as things keep progressing, he’ll hopefully be finding his receivers, too.
