On Saturday, reports emerged stating 13-year veteran safety Adrian Wilson had been released by the Chicago Bears.
Wilson, who will turn 35 during the upcoming NFL season, was signed by the Bears over the offseason, after spending the 2013 season as a member of the New England Patriots, though an achilles injury kept him on the injured reserve all season.
Prior to that, Wilson spent 12 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, making five Pro Bowls while recording 27 interceptions and 25.5 sacks in that span. He was released by the Cardinals in March of 2013.
