He’s back.
After missing each of the past four games with an ankle injury, Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Corey Peters makes his return at Washington on Sunday.
Peters’ Week 15-availability is big because the Cardinals will not have Josh Mauro along the defensive line. He’s out with his own ankle issue, something that’s been bothering him for a few weeks now.
Mauro, as was Peters, was officially listed questionable on Friday’s injury report.
The remaining inactives are quarterback Matt Barkley, wide receiver John Brown, cornerback C.J. Goodwin, tight end Jermaine Gresham, linebacker Gabe Martin and offensive lineman Earl Watford.
Brown (toe), Gresham (illness), Martin (hamstring) and Watford (ankle) had already been ruled out.
For the Redskins, linebacker Zach Brown (illness/toe/Achilles/hip), defensive lineman Terrell McClain (toe), safety Montae Nicholson (concussion) and left tackle Trent Williams (knee) are out due to injury and among the listed inactives.
The others not in uniform for Washington are wide receiver Robert Davis, offensive lineman Kyle Kalis and center Demetrius Rhaney.
