It’s always cool when a Good Samaritan returns a lost wallet to its owner.
It’s even cooler when that Good Samaritan turns out to be an NFL star.
A Washington man who dropped his wallet when getting gas came home to find it had been returned to his house by Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, according to ESPN.
Jason Lynch — no relation — was at the gas station when he saw Marshawn Lynch pull up. Jason decided not to bother him and left to pick up his son, not knowing he left his wallet at the station.
When Jason returned home, his neighbor told him that Marshawn and Seattle wide receiver Ricardo Lockette stopped by to drop off the wallet.
Jason said the Seahawks players were on their way to an appearance at Marysville-Pilchuck High School, the site of a fatal shooting in October.
Jason Lynch may have forgotten about his wallet, but he certainly won’t forget how he got it back.
