ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS

D-backs suit up, dress classy following win and sweep over Dodgers

The Arizona Diamondbacks looked like winners on Wednesday, when the entire team dressed up following a three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers as they headed to St. Louis.

Front and center is fan favorite and setup man Archie Bradley, looking slick with shades and an outfit that suits his beard well.

Don’t ignore manager Torey Lovullo and his glorious bowtie behind him.

Players and staff elected for several different approaches to the picture. Starting pitcher Zack Godley went all business with his hand placement along with Patrick Corbin and others, while David Peralta went with the combination of a backpack and extra accentuation of his suit jacket.

Both Bradley and Daniel Descalso looked ready for Kentucky Derby season, while A.J. Pollock on the far right might want to not forget his socks and shoes for the next photo-op.

The photo follows the tradition the team had last year of dressing up, from beach attire to favorite throwback jerseys.

“We’re a relaxed team, we don’t play dress up really often in our Sunday clothes but today we will,” Lovullo said ahead of Wednesday’s series finale with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

“I just want to see what these guys look like in suits and ties. I see it from time to time at different functions and different events throughout the Valley, so today is going to be exciting for me to see everybody dressed up in one spot.”
