Grant Hill, family have roots in Arizona

Grant Hill may be a free agent once the NBA’s lockout ends, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to leave Arizona the first chance he gets.
According to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic, the veteran has returned to his home in the Valley.
Don’t read too much into that, considering school began here for his older daughter, but the Hills do have a home in Orlando, too.
Unfortunately Hill, like many others, is fearful of a prolonged labor stoppage. While Suns Managing Partner Robert Sarver may want the second-longest tenured player to stick around, the 38-year-old’s (39 in October) future is certainly in doubt.
Hopefully when the league does begin playing again Hill will be on the roster. Though not a star, his veteran presence and ability to be a stopper on defense are needed on a team that is hoping to contend while rebuilding with youth.
