It’s about that time to flip the switch to baseball season.

Arizona Diamondbacks pitchers and catchers will report for spring training duties on Tuesday, and the full squad will hold its first workout the following Monday, Feb. 18. But this Saturday, the D-backs will hold their annual fan fest to get their new MLB season going.

The 2019 D-backs Fan Fest will go from noon to 4 p.m. at Salt River Fields.

We’ll carry the event on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station starting at 11 a.m. and through 1:30 p.m. Coverage then moves to ESPN 620 AM until its conclusion.

On-air guests in the 11 o’clock hour will include Diamondbacks president Derrick Hall, GM Mike Hazen and manager Torey Lovullo.

Players expected to drop in from noon to 1 p.m. will be Steven Souza Jr., Archie Bradley and Zack Godley. Newcomers Luke Weaver and Carson Kelly, plus David Peralta join the broadcast from 1-2 p.m. Wrapping up at 2 p.m. for the guests will be Jake Lamb, Luis Gonzalez and Darnell Coles.

Hosts for our broadcast will include: Doug Franz and John Gambadoro (11 a.m. hour); Dave Burns and Dan Bickley (noon); Greg Schulte and Tom Candiotti (1 p.m.); and Steve Berthiaume and Bob Brenly (2 p.m.).

Here’s what to know if you plan on attending and a few links to help you navigate the event.
