Phoenix Rising FC forward Adam Jahn was named to the Week 19 USL Team of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Jahn scored the lone goal in Rising’s 1-0 win away to Rio Grande Valley FC Toros on Saturday via a forceful header on a Solomon Asante cross that hit the underside of the crossbar before crossing over the line.
Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever a doubt we'd get one on the board.@AdamJahn14 with his 10th goal and @Asante208 with his 10th (!!!) assist.#UpRising pic.twitter.com/sEMBdZSPNK

The victory extends the club’s winning streak to nine consecutive matches, just one off the league’s all-time record of 10 straight wins that was set last year by FC Cincinnati, who now play in the MLS.
Phoenix’s No. 9 now has 10 goals on the 2019 campaign, placing him tied for fourth in USL Championship in goals scored and two behind the league leader Asante.
Jahn also completed 15 of 21 passes (71%), extending his streak of having a goal or an assist in 11 consecutive matches.
This is his second Team of the Week nod, as the forward was the Week 10 Player of the Week and was also a Week 16 Team of the Week honorable mention.
PRFC has now received Team of the Week honors for a fifth straight week and 13th total on the year.
Phoenix Rising will attempt to tie the league’s all-time record of 10 consecutive matches won on Friday as fourth-placed Austin Bold FC comes into town on $1 beer night.
Rising is a perfect 11-0-0 all-time in those matches.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and will be audio-streamed on ArizonaSports.com.
