D-backs remove Holland from closing role following 5th blown save

Following his fifth blown save of the season Friday, D-backs manager Torey Lovullo is giving Greg Holland a break.
Lovullo told reporters Sunday that he hopes the demotion is temporary and will allow Holland to get back on a roll.
For the time being, he has not selected a new closer. He plans to use closers on a match up basis.

In the month of July, Holland threw 6.1 innings and allowed 8 hits, 6 runs and compiled a 8.53 ERA.
Prior to the All-Star break, Holland held a 3.3 ERA with 14 saves.
