The NFL Films crew gives us the best of the best when it comes to behind-the-scenes NFL moments on its HBO series “Hard Knocks.”
Tuesday’s latest episode following the Oakland Raiders visiting the Arizona Cardinals was no different, documenting the latest in the saga surrounding Raiders wideout Antonio Brown and the team’s Week 2 matchup in the preseason.
Brown was the focus of a majority of the episode even though he didn’t play. One of the moments shown from the game was after it, when Brown went to the middle of the field to greet Cardinals quarterback and No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray.
“Hard Knocks” provided insight on some of the conversation between the two.
After a quick embrace, Murray joked with Brown on the Raiders’ defensive pressure.
“Why they gotta bring the house on me, bro?” Murray asked.
Murray went through big-time struggles in the game, completing only three of his eight pass attempts.
Brown had a simple answer for Murray, who had to evade Oakland’s pass rush consistently and took a safety on his last drive.
“They got to,” Brown said.
“That’s what people gonna do. You gotta get used to that because you so fast. They’re gonna try to just bring people everywhere.”
The Cardinals lost the game 33-26 and return to action on Saturday against the Minnesota Vikings at 10 a.m. You can hear that game live on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
