The Arizona Cardinals signed two players to their practice squad on Wednesday, adding cornerback Andre Chachere and tight end Darrell Daniels.

The moves come just days after Daniels was released in a corresponding move with the team re-signing offensive lineman Jeremy Vujnovich on Monday. Vujnovich himself was released to make room for Daniels on Saturday, a day before the Cardinals’ game against the Lions.

Needless to say, the Cardinals have made several transactions involving Daniels recently, and he’s back on their practice squad.

Chachere was with the Lions this past preseason and, last year, he was on Detroit’s active roster and practice squad. A San Jose State alumnus, Chachere signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent before joining the Lions. In 49 college games, the 23-year-old had 122 tackles and seven interceptions.

The Cardinals had two corners go out before the season even got going. Star No. 1 cornerback Patrick Peterson was suspended for the first six games of the season, while Robert Alford sustained an injury.

As of Wednesday, the Cardinals listed Tremaine Brock Sr., Byron Murphy, Chris Jones and Kevin Peterson as the cornerbacks on their roster.
