Arizona to begin home-and-home series with Missouri in December

Just a week after what promises to be a tough game at Gonzaga, the 2015-16 Arizona Wildcats will get a chance at the SEC.

CBS Sports reported Missouri will travel to the McKale Center on December 13, a Sunday. This will be the first of a home-and-home series with the other scheduled to be played in 2016-17.

The two teams squared off last year in the Maui Tournament opener and it was a one-sided affair. Brandon Ashley and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson each had 15 points in the 72-53 victory over the Tigers.

Missouri finished the season 9-23, last in the SEC. They failed to win a single road game last year, and Arizona hasn’t lost a home game since 2013.

Before last season, Kim Anderson’s first season as head coach, the Tigers hadn’t won less than 23 games since 2007-08.
