The Los Angeles Rams took care of business against an underperforming Chicago Bears team on Monday night in a 24-10 win, improving to 5-2 to tie with the Arizona Cardinals for second in the NFC West.

Those two teams are a half-game behind the Seattle Seahawks, who moved to 5-1 after their first loss of the season to the Cardinals on Sunday Night Football.

With the San Francisco 49ers in fourth with a respectable record of 4-3, the NFC West has a claim as the best division in football.

The AFC North is the only other division with more than two teams above .500 but features the 1-5 Cincinnati Bengals as the fourth team. The NFC West’s 19 wins are five more than any other division in the NFC, and each team has a point differential of at least plus-30.

With how jam-packed the standings are in the Cardinals’ division, it will likely be settled by matchups between those teams, and a few of those are on the way.

The Seahawks host the 49ers on Sunday, and after one week featuring no in-division matchups, there are four weeks in a row with an NFC West showdown on the schedule.

Seattle travels to Los Angeles in Week 10, Arizona plays the Seahawks on the road in Week 11 on Thursday night and the 49ers take on the Rams in LA for Week 12. Los Angeles then comes to State Farm Stadium to face the Cardinals in Week 13.

Arizona is the lone team of the four that is undefeated in division play, at 2-0.
