Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury wouldn’t say whether or not quarterback Kyler Murray would play in the team’s preseason finale against the Saints in New Orleans next Saturday.
“Just like we’ve been taking it week to week, we’ll take it week to week,” Kingsbury said when asked of Murray’s availability.

The quarterback made his 2021 preseason debut in Friday night’s 17-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs at State Farm Stadium.
However, it wasn’t the brightest of spells for the third-year signal caller and the Arizona offense, which was negative in yardage (-1) after the first quarter.
Murray was 1-for-4 for two yards in the air and had eight yards on the ground via one rush as the Cardinals went three-and-out in all three drives he played in.
“No, it wouldn’t, no,” Kingsbury said of Friday night’s offensive performance having an effect on who plays in the preseason finale against the Saints.
“Like I said, we weren’t very sharp. Thought we had a very good week of practice but didn’t execute at a high level tonight but we’ll take each game week to week.”
