Nov 13, 2013, 5:58 AM | Updated: 3:10 pm

The Arizona Diamondbacks have interest in trading for Chicago Cubs outfielder Nate Schierholtz, according to a tweet from Fox Sports MLB insider Jon Morosi.

Morosi’s sources tell him the D-backs have interest in adding some power to one of their corner outfield positions.

Schierholtz is a seven-year right fielder who batted .251 and hit 21 home runs, 32 doubles and 68 RBI in 462 at-bats in 2013, his first season with Chicago.

No word yet on what the D-backs might be willing to offer to acquire the 29-year-old outfielder.
