A car accident involving Arizona State football players has injured two and sent one to the hospital, according to SunDevilSource.

The incident occurred around 12 p.m. as the players were leaving the Kajikawa Practice Fields for the Student-Athletic Facility near what used to be Packard Stadium.

Two freshmen — defensive end Joe Moore and defensive back T Lee — and sophomore DE Stanley Lambert were in the car that struck the vehicle carrying senior tight end Curtis Hodges and freshman TE Jalin Conyers.

Conyers was transported to the hospital with a laceration on his head, while Hodges suffered a minor superficial wound.

Lambert, Lee and Moore were initially believed to not be injured, as the Tempe Police and Fire departments responded to the collision.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, players and coaches used to be taken to and from the practice field to the team facility via golf carts and busses.

But due to the current protocols, players are in charge of their own transportation and usually carpool for the short half-mile drive.

Arizona State is set to travel up to Corvallis to take on Oregon State on Saturday night.

However, it is currently unclear if any of the aforementioned players will not make the last regular-season road trip of the season.
